After relocating to Atlanta, Mr. Anthony open his first restaurant. In 1977, “Butch's Slide In BBQ opened and achieved tremendous success until it was sold in 1980. Mr. Anthony's Midas touch in opening and operating restaurants has been realized over and over again. He has successfully operated restaurants in malls, shopping centers and in residential community locations.

In 1983, Mr. Anthony and his wife Barbara, founded This Is It! BBQ & Seafood. Heralded as local pioneers of southern and home-style cuisine, their corporate focus is to promote quality food and family pride. With over 25 years in the restaurant industry, Mr. Anthony's This Is It! restaurants are recognized for their exceptional hospitality while serving their best, authentic home-style, health conscious recipes. Their many prestigious awards attest to the comprehensive superiority of their establishments.

Mr. Anthony is devout in his Christian faith. As This Is It! launches into global markets, the message of faith and faithfulness to the This Is It! vision is served with each delicious meal.
